Beginning in 2018, Max Machinery will be refurbishing meters that are 10 years old or newer. We still provide calibrations for all models of Max Precision Flow Meters, no matter how old.
As technology has changed and improved over the past 50 years, Max Machinery design and development have come a long way. By refurbishing the meter all at once, we return it to you operating as new for the lowest possible cost. That way, you’re certain that the meter will perform for a long time to come.

FAQs
How do I identify the meter serial number?
Our meters all come labeled with an alpha-numeric serial number where the first letter is the decade and the following number is the year. See the included key above.
Will the meter perform the same after it’s refurbished?
All our meters leave our facility with a NIST traceable calibration certificate that shows the meter meets or exceeds our requirements and specifications. If it has been longer than a year since your last calibration, you may find the meter performs better than your expectations.
How old of a meter can I calibrate?
We will calibrate all Max Meters, no matter how old.
How old of a meter can I have refurbished?
We refurbish meters on a 10 year running basis. In 2018, we will refurbish meters with a SN C8xxxx and newer.
Wait, why only 10 years of refurbishment if your meters last 20 years or longer?
Technology has changed significantly in the past 10 years and we see most customers wanting better accuracy and resolution than could be provided more than 10 years ago. So, if it is broke, upgrade it!
